The Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), in partnership with and Embassy of Kazakhstan to the United States, is organizing the Third Kazakhstan Competitiveness Forum (KCF). The purpose of the forum is to provide the Government of Kazakhstan and the global private sector an opportunity to exchange practical and actionable ideas on accelerating Kazakhstan’s competitiveness and modernization. The KCF will take place in Nur-Sultan, on May 15, 2019 coinciding with Annual Astana Economic Forum.
BCIU will convene business leaders, officials from the Government of Kazakhstan, and leading Kazakh entrepreneurs to address key topics crucial to Kazakhstan’s modernization. This half-day forum will feature His Excellency Erzhan Kazykhanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States and Mr. Ted Lyng, Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States to the Republic of Kazakhstan. Other invited Government Officials include: His Excellency Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and the Ministers of Agriculture, Energy, Finance, Health, Foreign Affairs, National Economy. Additional Ministers will be included based on private sector interest.
