Biographical Information

Katherine Tai serves as Majority Chief Trade Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means. Prior to joining the Committee trade staff in 2014, Katherine served as Chief Counsel for China Trade Enforcement at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) where she was responsible for managing the development and litigation of U.S. disputes against China at the WTO. From 2007 to 2011, Katherine was Associate General Counsel at USTR.

Katherine is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School.
