Zied Ladhari was appointed Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation on September 14, 2017.
Prior to this position, Minister Ladhari served as Minister of Industry and Trade since August 28, 2016 and as Minister of Vocational Training and Employment from February 6, 2015 to August 28, 2016. Minister Ladhari was elected a member of the People’s Representatives Assembly, the Tunisian parliament, for the city of Sousse in October 2014. From 2011 to 2014, he served as an elected member of the National Constituent Assembly for the same constituency.
Prior to serving in the National Constituent Assembly, Minister Ladhari was admitted as a qualified lawyer to the Tunisian and French Bar associations. He practiced in multinational law firms in Paris for several years and specialized in economic and financial affairs, with a special focus on international economic law and international investment.
Minister Ladhari holds a Master’s degree in Law, and a postgraduate diploma in private Law from Tunis University. He also obtained a postgraduate degree from Sorbonne University in International and Comparative law and Arab Countries Law in addition to a second degree in Banking and Finance.
